Dangers of Vaping – Are They Similar to Conventional Cigarettes?

Children are actually showing a heightened interest in trying Vaporized cannabis as well, according to a study published in-may 2021 in the peer-reviewed Journal of Adolescent Health. This study was done by the National Institute of Mental Health, that is a government agency within the US Department of Education. Researchers examined the smoking behaviors of twenty-three children, including ten who smoked cigarettes regularly and fifteen who didn’t smoke at all. It had been found that even children who were only occasional marijuana smokers were ready to try vaporizing cannabis. Interestingly, this study didn’t look at the long-term effects of E-Cigs on these children’s long-term smoking habits, only their short-term ones.
Overall, it appears that the dangers of E-Cigs are virtually exactly what you might expect from combustible cigarette smoking. The only difference is that instead of inhaling toxic gases, smoke is created in an E-Cig, instead of blowing out of a normal cigarette. The largest dangers of E-Cigs are from vaporizing toxins in your lungs instead of from actual combustion. Even in this case, though, the dangers of E-Cigs are still considerably significantly less than cigarettes, especially considering that teens have already demonstrated a massive interest in tinkering with vaporized foods, candy, and chocolate.
